A Life Shaped By Sound
From the woodlands of England to festival stages across the world, Laura Targett’s life has always revolved around music. She picked up the violin at seven, and by her teenage years was already performing live—finding both solace and expression in the act of creating sound.
Rooted in Celtic and folk traditions and shaped by years of classical study, Laura’s style has evolved into a rich, global fusion. But her music is more than genre—it’s a living, breathing channel of emotion and story. Her voice—whether sung, spoken, or bowed—carries a depth that resonates beyond words.
Whether lost in improvisation or leading a full band, Laura offers something rare: the kind of performance that transforms a room and leaves an imprint on the soul.
"I’ve wept with anguish into my violin strings on stage and soloed best like that, I’ve levitated out of my body and looked down in amazement as the music played me."
